Manual
How Taskstand works, screen by screen. Start with the basics, or search for what you are after.
The basics
- Getting started What the app does, what every figure on the dashboard means, how to create your first project and add tasks fast, and how Today and Upcoming pick their tasks.
- Projects How a project is built from sections, what each status means, how to use folders, views and the task key, and how to close, reopen or delete a project.
- Tasks Add tasks with a date, priority, assignee and labels, use subtasks, comments and files, set up recurring tasks, and complete, archive or move them.
Working together
Time and planning
- Time and invoicing Track time with the timer or by hand, set estimates, rates and budgets, and keep track of which hours still have to go on an invoice.
- Timeline Give tasks a duration in working days, see them as bars on one axis, drag them to plan, and view every project on one timeline at once.
- Calendar feeds Publish your tasks as a calendar subscription, pick which tasks go in, and add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.
Code
- Link a GitHub repository Show the code changes of a project on the tasks they belong to, so everyone on the team sees what was actually built and when.
- Hand a task to an AI agent Copy a whole task as one prompt for a coding agent like Claude Code or Codex, with its comments, commits and attachments, and get the work back on the task.
Account and subscription
- Plans and limits What the free trial gives you, what each plan carries, how projects, people and files are counted, and what happens when a plan or trial ends.
- Your account Set your name, photo, language, timezone and work week, pick a theme, secure your sign in, choose your notifications and delete your account.
